    Want a Chance to Play StarCraft 2?

    Ever since last years release of the news of StarCraft 2 many of us have wanted a chance to play that game. Well that time has come the Blizzard World Wide Invitational 2008 is here!



    Blizzard is well known for their secrecy regarding their upcoming games. StarCraft 2 is no exception, since its announcement we have received very little leaked news. They have shown us what they want when they want. But with WWI 08 comes everyone's chance to play the game and get a first hand experience with it.

    WWI History


    Last year saw the announcement of StarCraft 2 at the Invitational and the fan reaction was massive. Since then we have seen our favorite fictional races transform, shifting from the familiar faces we know to their new and unknown forms. Finally relief for Blizzards most faithful set of fans, Brood War came out in 1998 and since then they have been holding out for a new game. WWI 07 brought that dream to life for all of us.

    This Year


    Blizzard will conduct business much like the previous invitationals, which means its gonna be a weekend filled with fun. Besides the chance for everyone to play SC2, fans will also be able to try out the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion, participate in silent auctions for exclusive Blizz gear, and go to signings with artists and team developers.

    Keeping with tradition there will be a tournament held for WC3 and SC:BW, no news on which players have been invited yet but its always exciting. Last year we saw Savior take home $10,000 and Creolophus grab the trophy for WC3 at BlizzCon. Blizzard clearly pays attention to the community and invites only the best. We will have to wait and see who comes this year but we do not think they will disappoint.

    Tickets


    Tickets are available now through Blizzards website they are about the same price as last years. Tickets cost about 70 euros or about 100 dollars, not cheap but well worth the price.     In this year they really must invite some better players,MistrZZZ,Mondragon and maybe Strelok now days cuz the rest are really far far behind in skill,cuz otherwise korea will rape us like last year.So say yes to:

    MistrZZZ
    Strelok

    Maybe cuz he won last year ICC and if you make a show match like MistrZZZ vs top 10 from current gg.net ranking,games vs such a players like Xiaozi,Gosia,Castro and Idra 90% will end whit a RAPE.Cuz MistrZZZ is far better then all this guys.

    All i can remember about misrtzz was the proof's ppl pulled out against him :)

    and as far i know clicking under fog is a hack..

    lets say you click enemys main base when game start..hack yes no?

    it was just as obvious click as he made..and there was more as far i recall :)

    so, eat that #11 ;>

    But it doesnt mean that misrtzzz cant play at good level..hack just makes him better..
