Another six players up in Master of the Craft

Tomorrow, March 31st, six more players will fight for the last two spots in the Masters of the Craft playoffs.

    Qualified players
    Spain ToT)SquaLL(
    Poland ToT)Gosia(
    United States Nony[Media]
    Ukraine MYM.Strelok
    Russia RoX.localhost
    Ukraine MYM.White-ra

    Three groups have past

After a short delay the third group of MotC was played and a few hours later we had the Ukrainian star White-Ra as the second place finisher of the group tied with Temujin, who lost the tie breaker match and did not get to move on. Also moving on was the replacement for Advokate, localhost, who did extremely well and ended up with a five to zero score, bringing the whole group down.

This means that we now have the Spaniard SquaLL, Polish Gosia, Nony from the US, the two Ukrainians Strelok and White-ra and Russian localhost moving on to the playoffs. Tomorrow evening we will have another two players play, the last group of MotC will be played, starting at 18:00.

    Last but not least

Up next we have Mondragon, who needs no introduction to the foreign community. He will be playing his first match versus his former team mate iNcontroL who decided to leave Templars of Twilight a while ago, to join up with the American based team, Micro Media instead.

The first player of the second match-up will be another ToT member, this time from Poland. GohaN has been a top European player for many years now and has shown that he will put up a fight when he faces the rather unknown Swedish player StormtoSS. The Swedish Protoss player has been a part of the Swedish national team for a fairly long time, and is now also a member of the Russian team 3D.

The last match will be between the former king of the World Cyber Games Russia winner from last year; Notforu and the old school Zerg player from the Netherlands who, just like iNcontroL, just joined up with Media.

Group four starts at 18:00 CET on Saturday

As usual we will now have the Group play a round robin with a best of one format for the matches, and the two players with the best score will be the ones joining the other players in the final phase of the tournament. The maps are the same as usual; Tau Cross, Un'Goru Crater and Zodiac.

Unfortunately we have not found anyone to cast the games yet, but if you know anyone who might be interested in doing so, or if you want to do it yourself, send a PM to Vilda and we will try to figure something out. After this weeks replays have been collected we will set up a replay package with all of the groups replays in them.
