This "entry free" of 400€ might be some
wrong translation.
Those 400€ is the "starting bonus" that
will be splitted between the 16 players.
Means we do not have to pay something, it's quite
the opposite since everyone who even participates
gets 25€ for that.
Just to clarify that.
(I'm 99% sure about this but if I am the one being
dumb now: I haven't paid 400€ "entry
fee" and haven't heard about it. I never
would pay 400€ to be able to play a league
anyway.)

dont u get it this is a german league so mosly
germans were ment to participate to make it more
interessting they included at least european
players..
of course there will be always some players
missing but maybe those players not only got
chosen because of their skill but also because of
their reliability

This is great, it will be on TV, theres real money
involved, casting; sounds like a good example for
the future of SC out of Korea, really very nice,
thanks for the effort, I hope the community
response will be gratifying.
Its amazing how people here always find, or it
seems like they look for, a reason to complaint
about, show some support instead.
Hope there will be more of it in the future, with
other players and English casting.

mondragon was told to decide who can participe. he
told two german nobodys to search the players. so
its obvously that they had to invite 3/4 tot
;)
and overall a not very perfect decision, but it
could be worse.
hope to see some good games!

Hey guys got goodys race fixed up and worked out
the 400 euro entry fee haha. Thanks to infernal
for clearing that up you were totally right man
the translation that I got from Google was a bit
cloudy as to what it meant and i thought this
seemed high. Also thanks to zulu for helpin me out
ill be getting back to this tomorow hopefully add
some more updates thanks guys

Ehm people... it's a German event (Gamestar is a
German computer games magazine). And it was
decided by the league admins that half of the
players should be German and the other half should
be European. And another criteria is that they
should be reliable (hence the season goes 9
months).
#11: Collector is Ger-A.
#39: Goody officially quit BW after last WCG
(where he was beat by Mondragon in 3/4 finals).
Now he seems to be getting active again.
#45: The admins wanted the races to be balanced.
There are already enough protoss players.
Great event, I hope it works out well. :)
Beside WCG there is no other non asian event with
so much cash to win, which is pretty nice.
And I hope that most of the players stay motivated
and active throughout the 9 months.

i never said mondragon decided the players. i said
mondragon decided the people who should decide
about them, thats a big difference.
also i said that because OF THAT its clear that so
many tots are here.
its obvouisly for a middle class player that these
tot players ARENT first class, there are many
better players, like mistrzzz or some russian.
mondragon, infernal, gohan ok fine, but tots like
squall for example are just NOT that lvl, they
never win a single game on a tournament against
ppl like mistrzzz or mondragon.

after all criterias, which one was also how active
people are playing and so on. Mistrzzz would have
been another protoss if you think about it...
and mondragon didnt "decided" us. there
were few more people heading for the admin job. At
last we were picked and in your words it sounds
wether we picked that much ToTs because we owe
Mondragon sth. Thats totally wrong. its just a
fact that most good european, and active players
are in ToT or MYM.

affected our choice, and at the end there are
always people complaining.
I think we did a good choice and the league will
be a good tourney.
